Florida is #1 in the nation for toll roads …
… Bowen Kou will change that.
Central Florida families pay hundreds in tolls while the Turnpike profits $630M. Bowen would eliminate tolls without a penny from Florida Taxpayers.
Governor DeSantis’s Toll Relief Program is a good start, but our citizens deserve even more.

Did you know that Florida has the highest toll highway mileage in the country? Last year, tolls in Florida made a profit of $630 million, meanwhile, families in central Florida are being forced to pay hundreds of dollars in tolls each month just to get around. It’s time to put an end to this unfair costly system.
That’s why I would propose a bill to eliminate tolls that have already been paid off once and for all. Currently, less than a quarter of toll revenue is allocated for operations and maintenance. It creates a situation where people avoid tolls, causing more traffic and longer commutes. This is not the free-market system we believe in. Under my proposal, Out-of-state vehicles and commercial trucks would still pay tolls, generating revenues to cover the cost of maintaining the highway system. And the best part? This plan wouldn’t cost a penny from Florida taxpayers. It’s time for a fair and common-sense solution to our toll problem.
STOP FLORIDA TOLLS PETITION
I stand with Bowen Kou and his efforts to ensure local citizens can use Florida Turnpikes for free or at discounted rates.
The full toll cost should be paid by tourists – not our neighbors who drive our roads each day.
